Chartered accountants and Consular Corps together to support professionals and entreprises in the internationalisation process. This is the topic that will be discussed at the event that has been organised by the Ordine dei Dottori Commercialisti e degli Esperti Contabili di Palermo (the Italian accountancy body in Palermo) and that is scheduled for the 3rd of April 2019 at the headquarter of ODCEC of Palermo.
The conference will be introduced by the President of ODCEC of Palermo, Fabrizio Escheri, followed by Massimo Ferrante, Managing Director of the study group “Fiscalità Internazionale e Diritto Comunitario” and by Antonio Coglitore, Managing Director of the “Internazionalizzazione delle Imprese e delle Attività Professionali” study group. It will focus on the main aspects to consider in order to choose the target country.
The event will be divided into three sessions.
During the first session Patrizia Cannella and Giovanna Ciralli will discuss on how to assess the tax risk in international business, talking about the concept of permanent estabilshment and about the risk of tax inversion, analysing the main aspects of tax compliance for professionals.
The second session will be dedicated to the opportunities in the internationalisation process. In this second round of speakers, Daniele Baldassare Giacalone, Professor under contract of Comparative Corporate Law at the Link Campus University, will talk about limited companies in common law and civil law systems, followed by Tiberio Mantia, that will analyse fundings and guarantees for international operations. To conclude this session, Vittoriano Buccola will talk about country risk in the process of internationalisation.
The third and last session will be dedicated to the Consuls General and Honorary Consuls of 22 countries, namely Russia, Morocco, Tunisia, Lituania, Slovenia, South Korea, Estonia, Republic of Ghana, Brazil, Austria, Burkina Faso, the Netherlands, Sweden, Ivory Coast, Chile, Portugal, Cape Verde, Greece, Luxembourg and Poland. The Consular Corps will briefly analyse the features of the represented countries.
The event will be moderated by Rossana Giacalone, Coordinator of the “Fiscalità Internazionale e Diritto Comunitario” study group, member of H Advice International Network, and by Davide Farina, Coordinator of the “Internazionalizzazione delle Imprese e delle Attività Professionali” study group.
